The concept of Chartered professionalism traces its roots back many centuries, to the years following the Norman invasion in 1066. That’s some track record. In the 21st century, being a Chartered firm is more relevant than ever in terms of winning and securing public trust.
At OCM we have been recognised as Chartered Financial under the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) since 2010 and all of our Senior Wealth Managers are Chartered Financial Planners individually with all other Wealth Managers being on a targeted training and mentor program to become Chartered.
The Chartered logo signifies that an individual or an organisation has committed to:
- The highest levels of technical and professional knowledge and competence through professional qualifications
- Keeping knowledge and skills up-to-date through continuing professional development
- Ethical conduct through adhering to an industry Code of Ethics enforced through disciplinary sanctions
