I started OCM in 2004 because I’d watched too many people be sold advice instead of given it. So we built something different — bringing together independent advice, proactive investment management and tax planning under one roof, working as one.

How much do I need to invest to work with OCM?
It depends on your situation. As a guide: our Financial Services team works with clients below £250k, Wealth Management covers £250k–£3m, and our Family Office is designed for families with £3m and above. Not sure where you fit? A short call will point you to the right place.
How are your fees structured?
We’re transparent on cost. Fees are agreed and explained clearly before any chargeable work begins and agreed with you in writing, so you always know what you’re paying, when and why.
The initial fees OCM charges are 1% or less and we cap initial fees for clients and will depend on the amount being invested. We often spread that charge so it is taken from growth and not capital. .
The ongoing fees OCM charge our clients range from 0.95% per annum (for clients with AUM below £2.5m to 0.5% per annum for clients with more than £10m of AUM. For larger family office clients we offer bespoke terms based on the services being delivered and breadth of advice being given.
Because we’re independent, our advice isn’t influenced by commission.

An informal 30-minute conversation, no obligation, with you setting the agenda. We listen, answer your questions, and give you an honest view of whether and how we can help. No pressure to proceed.
Are you genuinely independent?
Yes. We give independent financial advice, not tied to any provider’s products and recommend what’s right for you across the whole market.
How is my money protected?
OCM Wealth Management is authorised and regulated by the FCA (Registration No. 418826). Investments are held with [a regulated third-party custodian that we will recommend based on the needs of our clients from our panel, and eligible clients are covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).
What is your investment philosophy?
Long-term, evidence-based, diversified and risk-managed with six different solutions that provide clients with choice and diversification of strategy. Decisions as regards to the geographic asset allocation are made by our in-house Investment Committee through a disciplined research process, so the people managing your money sit in the same firm as your adviser.
Can I leave if I’m not happy with the service?
Yes. We earn the relationship every year and don’t lock you in. If the service isn’t right for you, we’ll make moving on straightforward. There are no exit penalties and no restrictions, we keep our clients because they value what we do.
How often will I hear from my adviser?
You’ll have structured reviews and regular reporting as standard, plus a named team you can reach whenever something changes in your life. The periodicity of reviews depends on which area of the business looks after you. For Family office clients it is multiple times a month and for Financial services it is annually. Every service is delivered based upon the client’s needs and objectives.
