29/11/13 Market Movements
Markets closed down 3.90 points at 6,650.47 today.
The alpha alarm went off today as Experian fell through its last support level.
S&P today downgraded the Netherlands rating to AA+ and stated the countries growth prospects have deteriorated and fallen behind its peers. The downgrade means the only countries left in the Eurozone with a AAA rating from S&P are Germany, Finland and Luxembourg.
S&P also revised Spain’s credit outlook from negative to stable. Whilst this change doesn’t alter Spain’s BBB – rating, there is now a much smaller chance of a further downgrade in the next couple of years.
